Yes, I am reaching the end of my life.. i mean my 20’s.
I can’t believe all the things good and bad that have happened in the last 9 years.
Time is a piece of wax, fallin’ on a termite, who’s choking on the splinters.
I guess I should start planning my 30th now.
Any amazing suggestions??
6 months old
It’s actually almost 7 months but I am behind.
Such is the life of a mom. ( insert sigh)
*Is that poop or chocolate on there…..?*
Hubba Hubba
New favorite trick- foot in mouth
Way more fun than practicing crawling
Feet have never been so fascinating
He has a loud throaty laugh now too.
I have yet to get it on video though!
Happy 6 month Birthday little man!
I can’t believe he has been around for half a year!
Half a year!
Almost the length of time I knew I was pregnant with him.
That seemed to be forever and this has just flown by.
I can barely wrap my head around it.
Arts n’ Farts
Over the weekend a few friends and I went to a painting party!
We bought the deal on Living Social and lucky for me the shop is just down the street.
Hopefully it is doing well and will stick around because at the moment downtown Renton is looking pretty sad.
A lot of shops have closed, the coffee shop is now cash only (wtf)
and the Pop Corn store ( you may remember me making fun of it before)
is moving to Kent!
DTR is again doomed.
The event was at Arts-n-Carafes
We got snacks and wine and all the supplies needed to make our paintings.
There was a teacher who walked us all through each step as we followed along.
Even though we were all working on the same scene they all turned out very different in the end!
I definitely recommend stopping by for some painting fun!
Baby’s first food
Hello, my name is Clark and …
It might be the constant growing or it might be the teeth pushing through
( check out this neat chart)
But no matter how much we feed him, he seems to have room for more.
I am hoping that having some solid foods in him will help him sleep through the night as well.
I am still up every couple hours with him and it is really starting to wear on me.
I would love to get my 7 hours in one consecutive chunk one day!
Day 1
Day 2
He wants to hold the spoon and can’t get enough
Fast learner!
We have been feeding him Earth’s Best mixed with a little apple sauce
He is still a pro with the bottle though.
Check this out.
Now that’s talent!
The nursery is done……… 6 month later
This room is:
Clark & Bentley approved
It has been almost a year since we started putting up drywall and getting the room ready,
Last week we finally finished with the last piece of trim!
It turned out pretty close to how I had imagined it.
I have no idea if Clark likes it, but he’s a baby, so who cares.
And mustache pillow
Pleated to match the shades
Finished dresser

Now I can kick back and relax
Not.

His Pony Bike from Great Grandma Nona
As some of you may have read on Facebook ,
“Tooooooys!!!! I thought it would suck getting shafted on gifts due to the baby, but its pretty awesome to watch him enjoy it. It doesnt suck at all.”
The Elf Files
For a Christmas present I received a frame with a few of these photos of Clark dressed as an elf in it.
I had never seen the outfit before and had no idea these pictures even existed.
It was a scheme run by my parents and sister while they were babysitting one night.
Poor Clark was probably wondering what exactly was going on.
So, you might think this is a chair with a sheet draped over it to create a nice holiday backdrop.
But, you would be wrong.
As I later found out, it’s actually my dad under a sheet holding Clark up for the photo.
Now I can not look at any of these photos and take them seriously!
He doesn’t wanna make toys.
He wants to be a dentist.
